In 2022 Cameron Painters & Decorators Ltd were appointed the main painting and decorating contractor by a private client.

The building’s exterior is regularly exposed to the rain at the riverside and it was quite visible that the protective coating was deteriorating. Whilst there were also decorative requests from the new occupier of the building.

Working at height in order to access the gable and chimney a MEWP needed to be operated in a high traffic area.

The Highland Council approved a permit to work, closing off the pavement, avoiding any contact with pedestrians.
