In 2025 Cameron Painters & Decorators Ltd were appointed ames taping, painting and decorating subcontractor for the construction of Royal Dornoch's new clubhouse by the main contractor Morrison Construction.

Newly plasterboarded ceilings and walls were mechanically taped 12 inch boxing tapered edge joints, bazooka and butterfly internals and steel applied to external angles with fast set and finish.
Time and endurance were required to form the coffer ceiling detail seen in the club shop with two steel tapes applied for a sharp edge and in the restaurant to ascend mobile towers to the apex of the vaulted ceiling.

All ceilings were finished in an emulsion and the hall panelling a clear lacquer applied by spray gun to provide a uniform coating. The beams that ascend the restaurant ceiling received an oil based stain by brush. Many of the timber finishes throughout were coated by hand.

Vinyl papers from Arte and Casamance were checked for the correct batch number and any defects. Paste was then rolled onto the walls above the panelling and papers hung straight match at drops up to 8m with excess removed by stanley knife and smoother.

The concrete floors found at the lower ground level were coated in a 2 pack epoxy that was required to achieve a PTV of 36 in a pendulum test.
